Creamy Baked Goat Cheese Dip with Honey & Herbs

Ingredients
  

  • 10 oz log of plain goat cheese softened
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon fresh rosemary chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh thyme leaves
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons honey plus more for drizzling
  • Crusty bread crackers, or vegetable sticks for serving

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a small bowl, combine the minced garlic, olive oil, chopped rosemary, thyme leaves, and black pepper. Mix well.
  3. Place the softened goat cheese log in the center of a small oven-safe skillet or baking dish. Score the top of the goat cheese log a few times with a knife.
  4. Pour the garlic and herb oil mixture evenly over the top of the goat cheese.
  5. Drizzle 2 tablespoons of honey over the goat cheese and oil mixture.
  6. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the goat cheese is softened, warm, and slightly bubbly around the edges.
  7. Remove from the oven and drizzle with a little extra honey just before serving.
  8. Serve immediately with your favorite dippers.
