Ingredients

  • 1/4 teaspoon sea salt or pink Himalayan salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon magnesium citrate powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon potassium chloride powder optional, for extra potassium
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice
  • 1-2 teaspoons raw honey or maple syrup adjust to taste
  • 1.5 cups cold water

Method

  1. In a glass or shaker bottle, combine the sea salt, magnesium citrate powder, and potassium chloride powder (if using). Ensure all powders are finely ground for easy dissolution.
  2. Add the fresh lemon juice and fresh lime juice to the glass. The citrus not only adds flavor but also helps to mask the saltiness.
  3. Pour in the cold water and whisk vigorously until all the powders are completely dissolved. If using a shaker bottle, secure the lid and shake well.
  4. Stir in your preferred sweetener, starting with 1 teaspoon of raw honey or maple syrup. Taste and add more if you prefer a sweeter drink.
  5. Continue whisking or shaking until the sweetener is fully incorporated. Serve immediately over ice for a truly refreshing experience.
