Ingredients
  

  • 2 oz Blanco Tequila
  • 1 oz Fresh Lime Juice about 1 medium lime
  • 0.5 oz Orange Liqueur like Cointreau or Triple Sec
  • 0.25 oz Agave Nectar or to taste, optional for extra sweetness
  • Lime wedges for garnish
  • Coarse salt or margarita salt for rimming the glass (optional)

Method
 

  1. Prepare your glass: If desired, run a lime wedge around the rim of your margarita glass or rocks glass. Dip the rim into a plate of coarse salt. Fill the glass with ice.
  2. Combine ingredients: In a cocktail shaker, add the tequila, fresh lime juice, orange liqueur, and agave nectar (if using).
  3. Shake well: Fill the cocktail shaker with ice. Secure the lid and shake vigorously for about 15-20 seconds until the shaker is well-chilled.
