**Prepare the Base:** In a medium bowl, whisk together the heavy cream, whole milk, granulated sugar, vanilla extract, and salt until the sugar is completely dissolved. Ensure all ingredients are well combined.
**Pour into Pint:** Carefully pour the mixture into a Ninja CREAMi pint container, filling it up to the 'Max Fill' line. Do not overfill.
**Freeze:** Secure the lid onto the pint and place it in the freezer. Allow it to freeze solid for at least 24 hours. The longer it freezes, the creamier the final result will be.
**Creami-fy:** Once frozen solid, remove the lid. Place the frozen pint into the outer bowl assembly and secure the outer bowl lid with the handle facing left. Place the assembly into the Ninja CREAMi machine and select the 'ICE CREAM' or 'CREAMi' setting (depending on your model).
**Check Consistency:** After the cycle is complete, the ice cream might appear crumbly. If so, add a tablespoon or two of milk to the pint.
**Re-spin:** Place the pint back into the outer bowl assembly and run the 'RE-SPIN' cycle. This will process the mixture further, creating a smooth, creamy texture.
**Add Mix-ins (Optional):** If you're adding mix-ins, create a well in the center of your creamy ice cream. Add your desired mix-ins to the well. Place the pint back into the outer bowl and select the 'MIX-IN' function. Once the cycle is complete, the mix-ins will be evenly distributed.
**Serve and Enjoy:** Scoop your perfectly creamy homemade ice cream into bowls and enjoy immediately!
