  • 8 oz block feta cheese crumbled
  • 4 oz cream cheese softened
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil plus more for drizzling
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 clove garlic minced (optional, for a garlicky kick)
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes or more, to taste
  • Fresh parsley or mint chopped, for garnish

Method
 

  1. In a food processor, combine the crumbled feta cheese, softened cream cheese, 2 tablespoons of olive oil, fresh lemon juice, minced garlic (if using), and black pepper. Process until the mixture is completely smooth and creamy, scraping down the sides as needed. This might take a few minutes to achieve the perfect whipped consistency.
  2. Transfer the whipped feta mixture to a serving bowl. You can spread it out slightly or create a swirl on top for a more appealing presentation.
  3. In a small bowl, whisk together the honey and red pepper flakes until well combined. This creates your sweet and spicy drizzle.
  4. Generously drizzle the honey-chili mixture over the whipped feta. You can create patterns or just cover the top.
  5. Garnish with fresh chopped parsley or mint. Add an extra light drizzle of olive oil over the top if desired.
